MyCashPickUp.com <— scam?

My mom was stupid enough to answer the effing phone and answered to a guy with a very thick spanish or middle eastern accent that didn’t even have the correct name of the person who lives here at first. [FIRST DUMB EFFING MISTAKE!] Then the guy tells her about this loan for $500 that she has been approved for [SECOND DUMB EFFING MISTAKE!]. My mom was sooo desperate for only 500 dollars, that she fed into this scam just from so random guy calling her without a referal or even a correct name. This guy took her to the website where she filed out basically ALL of her personal information down to her name, address, social security number and credit card number [THIRD DUMB EFFING MISTAKE!]. She was on the phone for like an hour before she even asked the guy about this whole “loan business” or whatever. She asked him questions about the company and all after she submitted ALL her information and they have it sumitted and finalized on her part so there was no way to erase it [FOURTH DUMB EFFING MISTAKE]. I told her time and time again but she did any of this to just hang up the phone because all of this is sketchy for only 500 dollars, come on now! The guy could hardly be understood, he wasn’t giving direct answers and he called out of nowhere and if you call the number back it won’t even ring. I don’t understand, she is a grown woman, what’s so hard about freaking hanging up the phone as soon as he pitched the whole thing. It’s stupid, this is like the fourth time she has done something comparable to this. Ughhh, now she all regrets, since it’s almost payday for her and her money comes on her card. But, she has given all her info to those “scammers” like a lil’ fool. And she is freaking out, but I told her, I mean I am 17, and she is almost 50, she knows nothing about the internet world, and she should had freaking took my word for it and just hung up. Ahhh, now shes stressed and so am. If she were to cancel her credit card, her money would come on a check about a week or two later, which isn’t good because she needs to pay the bills and also get us ready for school. The website is called: MyCashPickUp.com <— any info on this site. I can’t find anything and I told my mom like 10 times to look it up before she did anything. But I guess she was desperate for just ONLY 500 bucks that she would take out a loan via internet. SMH. Help!!!

Is Law Group of California a legitimate law firm with reputable lawyers?

I recently received a phone call from a representative of this company saying I owed money due to payday loans I had received some months ago. They were willing to “work out a settlement” that I pay them $500 on 10/22/10 followed by $496.46 on 10/29/10. I am unsure if this is scam operation as I was put on hold and transferred numerous times before speaking with Brandon Walton, “restitution manager”. Please email me your response as soon as possible before I proceed further and lose $996.46. Thank you.

A number that went by “123456789″ called me asking for my social number today?

Ok so I have like 2 payday loans in the amount of 200 a peice from months ago that I havent had the money to pay back yet. I got a call this morning from a number that went by “123456789″ on my caller id. That said a law suit had been filled against me and that I needed to send my social and driver license number to them. They didnt explain what company they were calling from or a number to reach them at.
And the guy could hardly speak english.
I have asked several people and they said that it was most likely a scam that people will call you about loans trying to scare you about going to jail just trying to get you to send them your social number to steal your identity etc..

is this true?? please help me

Is there a way to get my money back after Ive been scammed over the phone?

I had a call claiming they were from ACS American Credit Solutions or somthing. They had my last four digits of my social my bank account information and more… they claimed I owed money from a payday loan I took it out awhile ago.So, becuase of that I believed them. They were saying the creditor was pressing charges against me etc. I gave them 600.00.

I did some research ( which I should have done before) and found some other complaints of this so called company that it was a scam.
Can I get mymoney back somehow!!??!!

can you be sued without any written notification?

My husband and I recieved a phone call saying that my husband’s ssn has a lawsuit against it for a payday loan we never recieved.
We didnt have a bank acct at the time this loan was supposedly deposited into.
We have never recieved any information on this matter through mail or in person. Only phone calls. When we ask for information to be mailed they refuse and claim the only way they can send information is by fax.
I’m pretty positive its a scam considering the lack of information they can give us on it.

Is it POSSIBLE to be sued without prior written notification?
We have repeatedly asked for information to be mailed to us and they refuse unless it is through fax. But we do not want to give them another phone number to harass.
AGAIN- we never recieved any money. we didnt even have a bank acct.

Money Help!!?

Ok here’s the deal. I’m over drafted in my account $-702.00, and I have 3 payday loans out. I want to know if there is anyone out there that can help me out. Where I can find a loan, grant, work for a day, or if you want can just give me some money. I know it sounds sad and desperate, but I really need it. I have a full time job and I go to school. I am thinking about talking on a second job. Please this isn’t a scam. I’m a real guy who needs a little boost. Thanks!
